Vibration Isolators
Neoprene, housed spring or freestanding spring isolators for base mounting are available. Neoprene or spring hanging isolators are available for ceiling hung applications.Coatings
Housing to be coated with a minimum of 3 mils of Permatector, an electrostatically applied and baked polyester urethane, in gray color. The coating must exceed 1,000-hour salt spray under ASTM B117 test method. A wide selection of coatings resistant to corrosive environments is also available.Vibration Switch
This is an adjustable switch that shuts the fan off immediately in event of excessive vibration. The switch can be preset to any level of vibration amplitude and provides continuous vibration monitoring. An audible or visual signal may also be wired to the switch. Designed for maintenance free service in permanent installations.Variable Frequency Drives
By utilizing an adjustable speed drive, the frequency of the fan can be controlled. This allows excess ventilation to be reduced, and energy savings to be realized. On a typical tunneling application, the ASD can quickly pay for itself in energy savings.Across-the-line and soft-starter options are also available.
